Do you know what a Lipdub is?

A Lipdub is a type of video in which a group of people sing (but only moving their lips) and dance while listening to a song with its original audio. It has become very popular in You Tube.

Here you can see one of these, made by some preschoolers in England. They perform one of the best known songs of the british band Madness: "Our House".
I hope you like it and, if you want to sing it with them, look at the lyrics below.

' OUR HOUSE'
--------------------
Father wears his Sunday best
Mother's tired she needs a rest
The kids are playing up downstairs
Sister's sighing in her sleep
Brother's got a date to keep
He can't hang around
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house in the middle of our
Our house is our castle and our keep
Our house in the middle of..
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Our house it has a crowd
Ther's always something happening
And it's usually quite loud
Our mum she's so house-proud
Nothing ever slows her down
And a mess is not allowed
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house, in the middle of our
Our house, in the middle of our street
(something tells you)
(that you've got to get away from it)
Our house, in the middle of our
----MUSIC----
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house, in the middle of our
Father wears his Sunday best
Mother's tired she needs a rest
The kids are playing up downstairs
Sister's sighing in her sleep
Brother's got a date to keep
He can't hang around
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house, in the middle of our street
Our house...

BASQUES IN NORTH AMERICA

Basque fishermen went to North America a long time ago. They went to Ternua (Newfoundland), where they used to catch whales.
There are some places that remember this fact through their names.

One of this places is 'Port aux Basques'.
This is a little town in Ternua, where Basque whalers stayed during the early XVIth century.

Another place is the so called 'Isle of Basques' (Île aux Basques).
This island lies in Canada's Saint Lawrence River and Basque whalers worked there from 1580 to 1640. They harpooned the whales and took them to this island to cut them into pieces and take their oil.

There are remains of three ovens where whale fat was melted down. Nowadays this island is a Natural Park for birds and it can be visited by tourists.

Halloween is celebrated on 31st October. It is not a public holiday and children celebrate after school if it falls on a school day.
The children dress up in fancy dress and visit their neighbours' houses in a group. They knock on the door and shout Trick or treat! This means that the adults in the house have to give them sweets or the children will play a trick on them.
Many houses have a pumpkin lantern in the window. This is made by cutting the top off a pumpkin and removing the seeds and flesh from the inside. A face (mouth, nose and eyes) is then cut into the skin. A candle is lit and placed in the centre so the face shines.
